Today was my lucky day. I finally head official confirmation on my job. I don’t have to start till Monday but I decided to head back to Florida  right away. I’m now off for a new job in the Orlando area.

Persistence prevails and having a large network guaranteed my return. Now if I can only survive in Florida permanently I will be even happier (that’s why I’ve been maintaining my huge LinkedIn network).

I’ve been waiting for over a week now for official confirmation of my new gig. It’s getting kind of  annoying having to waiting for the official word. I was told by the consulting company that all they need is a signature. This should be all wrapped up by tomorrow morning since the person in charge of the hiring has been out.

I just can’t wait to get back to Florida. North Carolina was so boring compared to the paradise of Florida.

It has been a long and stressful few weeks but I have finally saw the fruits of my labor. I just got a offer for a 6 month contract back in Florida. It’s not surprising since I get 15-20 calls a day and deal with every decent recruiter in the state of Florida.  I also expect to get at least one more if not more offers in the next few days.

Fighting to get back to Florida was worth it. If you try your best at something you have a good chance at obtaining what you really want. This is really got news on the day before my last day at work here in Charlotte.
