Things Change Fast
Well, it’s been a surprising week. It seems my contract is coming to an end at the end on August 13th much earlier than expected. Why does it not surprise me that again it’s not due to my fault. My supervisor told my employer that “there wasn’t enough work”.
My guess is that they were just trimming the budget. Anyway, it’s the 2nd time in the past few months and the 2nd time this year I am unemployed. I just want to leave Charlotte. Charlotte is ok but it’s not the type of city I would want to live in. When you have lived in better cities you always compare to the other city.
Things seem to be looking up. I am getting tons of new opportunities back in Florida that I’m trying to get. Not to mention a ton of other cities and states. I’m on the phone for several hours a day and get way too many emails to keep up quickly enough. I’m just hoping that I have the opportunity to get back to Florida since I now have another chance of pursing it. If it doesn’t happen now there’s always another chance.
