The Case Of The Stalking Recruiter

I’m not much of a complainer lately but I can’t stand it when recruiters are too pushy and too persistent.  I have this recruiter that calls every 1-2 weeks regularly. The thing is that I have a voice mail message that says I’m not looking for work and not returning calls from recruiters. Every other recruiter that calls stops at this point and doesn’t leave a message.

The purpose of the message was for me to save time  deleting messages and to save the time of the recruiter. This one recruiter decided to leave a message even after hearing this message. His tactics go over the line of what is reasonable. Wouldn’t it be better if he just tried 5 more new people to push his opportunity? My guess is that because of his tactics as a recruiter he is having trouble finding people that will do business with him.

I have done the liberty of adding this company to the 3rd company in my blacklist of companies that I won’t do business with.

Persistance Prevails Is The Moto I Live By

Throughout my many successes and failures as a computer programmer I have come to live by one philosophy. Persistence prevails sums it up. Whenever you’re stuck on a difficult problem or a challenging situation failure is never a option. If you give up you fail. If you don’t give up you will succeed (maybe with help). There is no such thing as a failure.
